The CHANGI NAVAL BASE open house
Our ship have been very bussy this week.Painting,make powerpoint slides,spring cleaning resulted us to stay till quite late after sun set.
Sat 29/05/04 is open house first day and its already swarming with full of curious vistors.Exhibition of guns,missiles,live boat,communication system,ship's model fill up most of the place.Furthermore,the ships are open to public.Thousands of visitors onboard my ship,Missile convette Vessel-Victory Class starting at 10 am.I was position at the CIS 0.5 machine gun area with my partner.Our purpose is to answer any quiries and doubts... nethertheless take photo with/for them.
Stood there from 10 am to 9 pm.Very much fun when seeing many hunks and babes walking around.Seldom see them in military base.Thats one thing is that there is one Chinese out of 10 singaporeans visitors.My question inside my head.... is there realli so many Chinese have become our country's PR? or there's so many chinese touritst in singapore...or chinese are very patriot and always very interested in cannon,warships,fighter planes etc.
Oh..speak about these chinese visitors.. I have to thank them.Becoz they helped me in improving my chinese alot during that peiod of 11 hours .They asked me questions about missiles and ship ,of course in mandrin which i have no choice , but to translate what i have learned in english-> to Mandrin-> then say out.God grace!!!, i dun even know how to say Chaft,Bridge pointer,tanker,fenders,mast in mandrin every the ship crew and officers dunno.soemtimesi explain to them in Mandrin+english..(=singlish? no lah...one sentence got engish and mandrin).But dun pray pray, if they just ask about other things within my specialisation, i will answer them in very china way~ hahahbecoz luv to watch Made in china War films worhZ ^_^too bad i never bring my Camera there.... sad and regret~-_-

And the shooting continues
The U channel Staff came to our ship today again.But this time the actor is yang Xing quan,err..Xu Mei Zhen(from chan 8)'s BF.He wore out ship badge and was standing in the quarterdeck(at the back of our ship) acting.One of our ship crew,L.tech anti submerina specialist,jimmy was being arrowed to have a scene with him.In the scene...Yang xing quan was speaking to jimmy about his ambition is not to be in the ship, but to join the Naval diving unit elites.then what jimmy told him.. i forget liao. but i will edit this blog as long as i have asked jimmy what are the lines.

U channel Shooting.
We sail in the afternoon 1230 to Bedok jetty.Bedok sea sector is teh place where lots of pple go there for sea surfing.And the scene the U channel wanna shoot is about one sea surfer there have an accident.. and in dangerous situation. Lucky someone...(stunman) jump down and save him.The stunman i believe is Apple's replacement.oppzzz forget to tell u that Li ming lun and hong Yi xing aka APPLe onboard on ship with 2 female assistants and 10 other fit guys ...director ,stunman,cameraman etc.APPLE is very sweet loh... completely diff from what i see from TV.Linger around the shi passageway to have a few more peeps.Hey dun misunderstood.. i also got peep Ming lun also. He's about 1.8 m tall..about 80 kg.Think he got go gym one.
Well at dinner time,i went to the dining room..(naval term is Multifunction room) to inform Commanding officer something.Could see the whole Chan. U crew having dinner with C.O.Onli APPLe is folding her arms with eyes shut.Eventually i assume she is tired after days of filming.Then one hour later, which is 6.30 pm.She went to the Bridge( if u wanna know where is the bridge, i will show u the pic) with a transparent plastic bag(in naval term is vomiting bag).She was accompanied by Lee ming lun and her assistant.APPLE said paisae.... but she cannot tahan liao...ShE vomited. hahaa about 500 ml loh.Lee ming lun is there to pat her...say :try to look far.APPLe was obviously sea sick.I heard from many old bird or senior ship crew say:" whaaa she vomit argh... cannot make it... haiz.." but i still think she can tahan for 5 hours not bad liao lah. she after all a ger.. then acting under this hot weather,then somemore she seldom sail one, ok lah.Lee ming lun is a very approachable guy who interacts with us in english.Think he have been helping APPLe alot becoz since first hour my colleagues have reported(or gossip) that APPLE admits she is dizzy.. and ming lun is there for her... telling jokes to keep her smiling all the day. I recommend to take picture of them then sent to Chen li yun aka li ming lun wife. hehehe~
18th May tuesday
Nothing special today... just derust my ship guns,,hands oily.... boring...(basically a sentence can discribe my daily life on the ship).
But heard the U channel pple will be coming to our ship to shoot "hai3 jun1"(navy).wow.. i think i try to get a good spot to be shot~ hahhaaa put lumps of gell~.. not lah kidding... ~will update u tomolo..when i see them face to face

Yesterday back in singapore after 10 days Sailing. start to get sick of my sailing life..... perhaps it is a good expierience b4 i ORD.But my ship is the most sailing ship among all.... argh~
1 day was spent in tioman.I realise that tioman is an island for pple who like water sports.Other then that Tioman is completely a boring place.shops (aka mini markets) and shops all selling the same stuff.
During 10 day of sailing, we managed to watch the whole series of Jap animation
and Tian Long Ba bu china version.Lack of sleep argh!
